United Christian Fellowship (UCF) of Arlington is seeking a passionate, Spirit-
led leader to serve as our Youth & Young Adult Pastor. For 32 years, our church has
stood as a pillar of faith in the Arlington community, grounded in Baptist doctrine and
dedicated to Great Commission living.
We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to shepherd our vibrant group of
young people aged 18–35, helping them navigate critical life transitions while deepening
their walk with Christ.
Role Overview
The Youth & Young Adult Pastor will be responsible for the spiritual development,
mentorship, and mobilization of our young adult community. This role focuses on
bridging the gap between high school and full adulthood, ensuring that our 18–35
demographic is biblically grounded and actively engaged in the life of the church.
Key Responsibilities
Discipleship & Teaching: Lead weekly Bible studies and services specifically
tailored to the unique challenges of college students, young professionals, and
young families.
Mentorship: Provide one-on-one spiritual counseling and guidance for young
adults navigating career, marriage, and personal faith.
Community Building: Organize monthly fellowship events, retreats, and small
groups to foster deep, authentic relationships within the 18–35 age group.
Outreach & Missions: Develop local and global mission opportunities that allow
young adults to put their faith into action.
Leadership Development: Identify and train emerging leaders within the youth
group to serve in various capacities throughout the church.
Strategic Growth: Partner with senior leadership to develop a long-term vision
for the “Next Gen” ministry that aligns with our Baptist heritage.
Qualifications & Requirements
Spiritual Maturity: A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that
reflects biblical standards of leadership.
Doctrinal Alignment: Full agreement with Baptist beliefs and the Baptist Faith
and Message.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, Youth Ministry, or a related
field (Seminary degree preferred but not required).
Experience: At least 2–4 years of experience leading youth or young adult
ministries.
Communication: Strong preaching and teaching skills with the ability to make
complex theological truths accessible to young adults.
Relatability: A natural ability to connect with people across the 18–35 spectrum,
from college freshmen to established professionals.
